Planning Engineer

**Job Summary** We are seeking a qualified and experienced **Planning Engineer** to join our team for infrastructure and sewage asset rehabilitation projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and project timelines. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop, monitor, and update project schedules using planning software * Prepare baseline programs, look-ahead schedules, and recovery plans * Track project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports * Identify target submission dates in line with contract requirements * Plan and manage day-to-day site activities * Coordinate with Project Managers, site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors * Plan resource and plant requirements and arrange procurement as per program needs * Review and monitor project progress and productivity * Identify potential delays and recommend corrective actions * Review project scope, drawings, and BOQs for planning purposes * Ensure proper resource allocation and maintain manpower histograms and cash flow reports * Support claims, variation orders, and Extension of Time (EOT) analysis * Liaise with consultants and attend relevant project meetings * Ensure compliance with contract requirements and procedures * Maintain awareness of critical path activities and prepare recovery programs when required **Requirements** * Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline * Minimum 6 years of experience in MEP planning * Strong knowledge of MEP systems * Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project * Solid understanding of construction sequencing and methodologies * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities * Excellent communication and coordination skills * Ability to work full-time on-site **Preferred Qualifications** * Minimum 3 years of experience as permanent staff within an organization * Experience working in the UAE * Familiarity with project control and cost monitoring * Knowledge of contractual requirements Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person
