Planning Engineer

**Key Roles and Responsibilities: Expirance 4 to 5 Year** * **Project Scheduling:** Develop comprehensive baseline schedules, detailing activities, milestones, and resource requirements from project initiation to close-out. * **Progress Monitoring & Reporting:** Track daily/weekly progress, compare actual progress against the baseline, and generate reports (e.g., S-curves, histograms) to update stakeholders. * **Resource and Cost Optimization:** Forecast, plan, and optimize the allocation of manpower, machinery, and materials. * **Risk Management & Forecasting:** Identify potential bottlenecks and delays, providing early warnings and developing mitigation or recovery plans. * **Coordination & Communication:** Collaborate with site managers, subcontractors, and clients to align construction methods with the schedule. * **Contractual & Change Management:** Support the documentation of changes in scope (variations) and assist in preparing extension of time claims. **Essential Tools & Skills:** * **Software:** Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and MS Excel. * **Technical Knowledge:** Understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and, according to, Earned Value Management (EVM). * **Key Skills:** Strong analytical skills, communication, and attention to detail. **Planning Engineer vs. Project Engineer** While the Planning Engineer typically focuses on the time, schedule, and resources (the "when"), the Project Engineer usually focuses on site execution, technical issues, and drawings Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per hour Work Location: In person
