Planning Engineer - MEP Field

\*\*Abu Dhabi Experienced person with 2 to 4 Years Experience preferred. **1. Technical Planning & Scheduling Skills** * Proficiency in **Primavera P6** (mandatory for UAE projects) * Development of **baseline programmes**, recovery programmes, and revised schedules * Ability to create **WBS (Work Breakdown Structure)** aligned with project scope * Preparation of **resource‑loaded schedules** (manpower, equipment, materials) * Monitoring progress and preparing **weekly/monthly progress reports** * Delay analysis and preparation of **EOT (Extension of Time)** justifications * Knowledge of **critical path method (CPM)** and float management * Ability to integrate subcontractor schedules into the master programme **2. Project Controls & Reporting** * Preparation of **S‑curves**, histograms, and progress dashboards * Monitoring **earned value**, productivity rates, and performance indicators * Preparation of **look‑ahead schedules** (1‑week, 2‑week, 4‑week) * Coordination with QS for **cash flow forecasts** * Tracking procurement schedules and long‑lead items **3. Coordination & Communication Skills** * Coordination with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants * Conducting planning meetings and progress review sessions * Ability to explain schedule impacts to non‑technical stakeholders * Preparation of **narratives** for baseline and monthly updates * Strong documentation and reporting skills **4. Software & Tools** * **Primavera P6** (mandatory) * **MS Project** * **Excel (advanced)** – pivot tables, formulas, dashboards * **Power BI** (advantage) * AutoCAD (basic understanding for reading drawings) **6. Construction Knowledge** * Strong understanding of **MEP, civil, and architectural sequencing** * Knowledge of **site constraints**, logistics, and manpower planning * Ability to align schedule with **procurement and material delivery** * Understanding of testing, commissioning, and handover sequencing Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month Application Question(s): * Currently in UAE and able to join immediately?
