Project Accountant

**Role Summary** The Project Accountant plays a critical role in safeguarding the financial health of NEID's construction and fit-out projects. Working closely with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and the central Finance team, this role is responsible for the end-to-end financial management of assigned projects, including budget baselining, 3-way matching, subcontractor financial controls, and accurate cost reporting using Microsoft Dynamics 365. **Key Responsibilities** * Project Setup & Budgeting: Translate awarded contract BOQs into formal WBS-structured budget baselines in MS Dynamics 365 Project module. * Procurement Controls: Enforce the strict 3-way match process (PO vs. GRN vs. Invoice) for all material procurement. * Subcontractor Financial Control: Manage subcontractor advance payments, ensuring Advance Payment Bonds and Performance Guarantees are received before funds are released. * Subcontractor Payments: Process subcontractor interim payment certificates, ensuring they are supported by approved SRNs reflecting physical site progress. * Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly project cost reports, tracking AC against BAC, and update the Estimate at Completion (EAC) monthly. * Monthly PFR: Drive the Monthly Project Financial Review (PFR), presenting EAC, CPI, SPI, and cash flow for each project. **Qualifications & Experience** * Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years in construction, contracting, or interior fit-out in the UAE. * Systems: Hands-on MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Project Operations experience — MANDATORY. * Qualifications: CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or CMA qualification preferred. * Technical Knowledge: Deep knowledge of WIP, percentage of completion, retentions, advance payment bonds, and 3-way matching.
