**Job Title:** Project Engineer (Aluminum & Façade) **Department:** Engineering **Reports To:** Project Manager / Senior Project Engineer **Job Type:** Full-Time **Location:** United Arab Emirates (UAE) **Job Overview** We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented **Project Engineer – Aluminum & Façade** to support the successful execution of façade and aluminum system projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating technical, design, and site activities, ensuring all works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, timelines, budget, and quality standards. This role requires close collaboration with architects, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery. **Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Coordination** * Assist in developing project schedules, work programs, and timelines. * Coordinate façade and aluminum works from design stage through installation and handover. * Ensure all technical requirements and project specifications are properly implemented. **Design & Technical Support** * Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, and project specifications. * Prepare and submit material submittals, technical submittals, and method statements. * Provide technical support for façade systems including curtain walls, cladding, and glazing. * Coordinate with design and drafting teams for shop drawing preparation and approvals. **Vendor & Supplier Coordination** * Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for material procurement and delivery. * Track material approvals and ensure compliance with project specifications. * Evaluate vendor performance in terms of quality, delivery, and reliability. **Site Supervision & Execution** * Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and workmanship. * Ensure installation is carried out as per approved drawings and method statements. * Coordinate with site teams and subcontractors to resolve technical issues. * Enforce safety standards and site compliance in line with UAE regulations. **Cost & Budget Monitoring** * Assist in preparing BOQs, cost estimates, and project budgets. * Monitor material usage and project costs to avoid overruns. * Support variation claims and cost control measures. **Communication & Reporting** * Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and clients for approvals and updates. * Attend project meetings and provide technical input. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. **Quality Assurance & Compliance** * Ensure all façade works meet project specifications and quality standards. * Conduct inspections, material checks, and installation reviews. * Support QA/QC processes including MIRs, IRs, and snagging activities. **Qualifications & Requirements** * **Education:** Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field * **Experience:** * **5–10 years** in aluminum & façade projects * UAE/GCC experience preferred * **Driving License:** UAE Driving License preferred **Technical Skills** * Strong knowledge of: * Curtain wall systems (stick & unitized) * Cladding and glazing systems * Aluminum fabrication and installation * Software proficiency: * AutoCAD (mandatory) * Revit (preferred) * MS Project / Primavera (advantage) **Core Competencies** * Strong technical and coordination skills * Attention to detail and problem-solving ability * Effective communication and teamwork * Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure * Good understanding of UAE construction standards and safety regulations **What We Offer** * Competitive salary package * Opportunity to work on high-profile façade projects * Professional growth and career advancement Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
