In this role you will be responsible for the scope development, scope management and commercial performance of the project to meet project goals and objectives. **What You'll Be Doing:** * Ensures and assures consistency in the execution of supply chain construction in accordance with Client technical requirements. * Coordinate with other delivery partners and all existing contractors, and future planned procurement of major contractors. * Contributes to the development of innovative construction principles and ideas. * Leads on unusually complex construction problems and provides solutions that are highly creative, in coordination with project leads. * Facilitates partnerships with key stakeholders/organizations impacted by the program. * Assigns work to employees, oversees, and tracks the completion of work assignments. * Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. * Develop and implement strategic plans for the successful execution of the marine and coastal construction project. * Align construction activities with overall project objectives and organizational goals. * Provide strong leadership to the construction team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture. * Coordinate with various stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies. * Oversee the execution of quay walls, dredging, piling, and other marine and coastal construction activities. * Ensures adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics and safety standards, policies, and procedures. * Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations throughout the construction process. * Implement and manage quality control processes to guarantee the highest standards in construction work. * Conduct regular inspections to identify and rectify any construction deficiencies promptly. * Monitor project expenditures and ensure compliance with the allocated budget. * Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and safety. * Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address unforeseen challenges. * Implement contingency plans to minimize project disruptions. **What Required Skills You'll Bring:** * Bachelor's degree in Project Management or Civil Engineering related technical/business field. * 15+ years of related engineering management experience on large scale programs. * Incumbent should have a broad, general technical and business background. * Must have the ability to manage projects, interface with clients and enjoy being hands on technically in the project. Also gets involved in the designs on the project. * Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards and incumbent must meet Parsons' project management certification requirements. * Proven ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral communications **What Desired Skills You'll Bring:** * Professional registration may also be required. * A collegiate, team-player attitude.
