Projects Director (Civil)

**Job Title: Projects Director – Bridges & Civil Infrastructure** **Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE** **Experience Required: Minimum 10 Years (Mandatory)** **Job Summary** The Projects Director will lead and manage multiple civil construction projects, including bridges and underpasses, across various locations in Abu Dhabi. The role requires strong expertise in civil construction, cost estimation, cost control, procurement, and project progress monitoring, along with proven leadership in handling multiple projects simultaneously. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead and manage **multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously** across different locations. * Provide strong **leadership and direction** to project managers, engineers, and site teams. * Monitor and control **project progress**, ensuring timely completion in line with approved schedules. * Demonstrate in-depth **knowledge of civil construction practices and methodologies**. * Prepare, review, and manage **cost estimation, budgeting, and tendering processes**. * Implement strict **cost control measures** and financial tracking across all projects. * Oversee **procurement activities**, including material planning, vendor coordination, and subcontractor management. * Handle full **site operations and execution**, ensuring quality and safety compliance. * Maintain strong **client and consultant relationships**, managing communications, approvals, and issue resolution. * Coordinate with consultants for design reviews, technical submissions, and project compliance. * Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies. * Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi regulations, HSE standards, and contractual requirements. * Prepare and present **progress reports** and performance updates to senior management. **Qualifications & Requirements** * Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred). * Minimum **10 years of experience** in civil construction (mandatory). * Proven experience in **bridges, underpasses, and infrastructure projects**. * Strong expertise in: * Civil construction * Cost estimation & cost control * Project progress monitoring * Procurement and contract management * Site handling and execution * Proven ability to **lead multiple projects at the same time**. * Strong experience in **client and consultant coordination/dealing**. * Knowledge of Abu Dhabi / UAE construction standards and authorities. * PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage. **Key Skills** * Project Leadership & Multi-Project Management * Progress Monitoring & Scheduling * Cost Estimation & Cost Control * Procurement & Contract Management * Civil Construction & Site Management * Client & Consultant Coordination * Risk Management & Decision Making **Preferred Attributes** * Strong leadership and team management capabilities * Excellent communication and negotiation skills * Ability to manage complex projects under pressure * Proven track record of delivering multiple projects successfully Job Type: Permanent Pay: AED18,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month Application Question(s): * Do you have minimum 10 years of experience in civil construction projects? * Do you have proven experience in bridges and underpass projects? * How many projects have you managed as a project’s director simultaneously? * Do you have experience in cost estimation and cost control & procurement process? * Have you handled client and consultant coordination directly? * Expected Date of joining? * What is your expected salary (AED/month)?
