Proposal / Estimation Engineer

**Job Title: Estimation Engineer** **Location: Sharjah, United Arab Emirates** **Company: Prestige Engineering** **About the Company:** **Prestige Engineering, based in Sharjah, UAE, is a leading manufacturing company specialized in manufacturing of pressure vessels, piping systems, skid packages, and structural fabrication. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Estimation Engineer to join our team.** **Key Responsibilities:** * **Handle complete tendering and estimation for pressure vessels, piping, skid packages, and structural projects.** * **Review RFQs, technical specifications, drawings, and commercial requirements.** * **Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and quotations.** * **Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and production departments for costing inputs.** * **Source quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.** * **Prepare technical and commercial proposals within deadlines.** * **Attend client meetings and clarify tender requirements when required.** * **Maintain tender records and estimation databases.** * **Support management in contract negotiations and project handover.** **Qualifications:** * **Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.** * **Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, pressure vessels, piping, and structural steel works.** * **Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software/tools.** * **Good understanding of ASME, API, ASTM, and related industry codes/standards.** * **Strong communication and negotiation skills.** * **Ability to work under pressure and meet tender deadlines.** **Experience Required:** * **Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in estimation/tendering within fabrication, oil & gas, pressure vessel, piping, or skid package industries.** * **GCC/UAE experience preferred.** * **Experience handling turnkey industrial packages will be an advantage.** **How to Apply:** **Interested candidates may send their CV with expected salary and notice period to [email protected]** Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Work Location: In person
