QA/QC Engineer – Aluminum and Façade

**Job Title:** QA/QC Engineer – Aluminum and Façade **Job Type:** Full-Time **Industry:** Construction / Façade Engineering / Aluminum Systems **Position Overview** We are seeking a skilled **QA/QC Engineer** with strong experience in **aluminum and façade systems** to ensure that all project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and enforcing quality assurance and control procedures, conducting site inspections, maintaining documentation, and supporting project teams to achieve compliance at all stages of project execution. **Key Responsibilities** **1. Quality Assurance & Control** * Develop and implement QA/QC procedures in alignment with project specifications, industry standards, and ISO requirements. * Monitor and audit the **Quality Management System (QMS)** to ensure compliance with company policies. * Conduct inspections of materials and workmanship to verify conformity at each stage of the project. **2. Site Inspections & Monitoring** * Perform regular site inspections to monitor installation, fabrication, and finishing activities. * Identify and document **non-conformances (NCRs)**, initiate corrective actions, and follow up until closure. * Ensure on-site teams adhere to approved quality procedures and industry best practices. **3. Documentation & Reporting** * Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, test results, NCRs, and approvals. * Prepare and submit **quality reports, dashboards,** and summaries for management and clients. * Review and manage documentation related to **material submittals, shop drawings,** and **inspection requests (IRs).** **4. Training & Continuous Improvement** * Train and support site and project teams on QA/QC standards, documentation, and inspection methods. * Assist the QA/QC Manager in identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing **corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).** **5. Communication & Coordination** * Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve quality-related issues. * Participate in project progress and quality meetings, presenting quality status updates and corrective actions. **Requirements** **Education:** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field. **Experience:** * Minimum **3–5 years** of experience in QA/QC within the **aluminum, façade, or construction** industry, including hands-on site execution experience. **Technical Skills:** * Strong knowledge of **ISO standards**, **ASTM specifications**, and façade construction methodologies. * Proficient in inspection tools, test methods, and quality reporting systems. **Soft Skills:** * Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.
