QA/QC (Quality Assurance / Quality Control)

We’re Hiring! Maklad Design is looking for a **Fit-Out Engineer** to join our dynamic team in Dubai. If you are a Civil Engineer with strong experience in interior fit-out, finishing works, and QA/QC (Quality Assurance / Quality Control) — this role is for you! **Location:** Dubai **Position:** Fit-Out Engineer (Civil Engineer – Finishing & QA/QC) Join a youth-driven, creative, and innovative team delivering high-quality interior design & fit-out projects across the UAE. **Responsibilities** * Supervise and monitor all fit-out and finishing works on site from start to completion. * Ensure all works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project standards. * Conduct regular QA/QC inspections and ensure strict compliance with quality requirements. * Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers. * Review site progress and ensure timely delivery of finishing works. * Identify, report, and resolve site and technical issues efficiently. * Monitor materials and workmanship to ensure high-quality execution. * Prepare daily/weekly site reports and maintain QA/QC documentation. * Ensure safety standards and site procedures are strictly followed. * Assist in snagging, handover inspections, and final project completion. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. * 5+ years UAE experience in interior fit-out projects. * Strong experience in finishing works (joinery, flooring, painting, ceiling, etc.). * Solid background in QA/QC inspection and quality control procedures. * Knowledge of materials, construction methods, and site execution. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. * Familiarity with fit-out workflows and site coordination. **Field Skills** * Strong site supervision and finishing execution experience. * Ability to manage subcontractors and ensure quality workmanship. * Skilled in QA/QC inspections and punch listing. * Good understanding of construction sequencing and site coordination. * Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. **Soft Skills** * Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset. * Good communication and coordination skills. * Team player with leadership on-site presence. * Problem-solving and proactive approach. * Ability to handle multiple site activities efficiently.
