QC Engineer (Civil)

Key Responsibilities * Implement and maintain the **Project Quality Plan (PQP)** and QA/QC procedures. * Inspect civil works such as **concrete works, reinforcement, formwork, masonry, plastering, finishing, piling, shoring, and earthworks**. * Ensure works comply with **approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, method statements, and relevant standards**. * Conduct **pre-inspection and stage inspections** and coordinate inspections with the Consultant/Client. * Prepare and submit **Inspection Requests (IRs), MIRs, WIRs**, and other QA/QC documents. * Monitor and record **concrete pouring activities**, including slump tests, cube sampling, and curing. * Verify materials delivered to site against approved **Material Submittals**. * Identify **non-conformities (NCRs)**, follow up on corrective and preventive actions. * Maintain proper **quality records, test reports, and as-built documentation**. * Coordinate with site engineers, construction team, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues. * Support audits and ensure compliance with **ISO 9001** and project quality requirements. Qualifications & Experience * Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in **Civil Engineering**. * Minimum **3–7 years** experience in QA/QC for civil construction projects. * Strong knowledge of **construction standards, codes, and specifications**. * Experience in **high-rise buildings, infrastructure, or industrial projects** is preferred. * Familiar with **QA/QC documentation and inspection procedures**. Skills & Competencies * Good knowledge of **construction materials and testing methods**. * Ability to read and interpret **drawings and specifications**. * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. * Effective communication and coordination skills. * Proficient in **MS Office** and basic reporting tools.
