Quantity Surveyor

**Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (QS)** **Job Summary:** A Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing all costs related to construction projects, from initial estimates through to final accounts. The role ensures projects are completed within budget while maintaining quality and compliance with contractual and legal requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** * Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQ) * Monitor project costs and track variations * Conduct feasibility studies and cost planning * Prepare tender documents, contracts, and procurement strategies * Evaluate contractor bids and negotiate contracts * Manage and value work done on-site * Assess and process interim payments and final accounts * Identify, analyze, and mitigate financial risks * Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements * Liaise with clients, contractors, engineers, and project managers * Maintain accurate financial records and reports **Required Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field * Professional certification (e.g., RICS) is an advantage * Proven experience in construction or infrastructure projects **Skills and Competencies:** * Strong numerical and analytical skills * Knowledge of construction methods and materials * Familiarity with cost estimation software (e.g., CostX, PlanSwift) * Excellent negotiation and communication skills * Attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines * Understanding of contracts (FIDIC or similar) **Work Environment:** * Combination of office-based and on-site work * May require travel to project sites Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month Work Location: In person
