Quantity Surveyor- Mechanical

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of mechanical works in our projects, ensuring cost efficiency, accurate estimations, and effective contract administration. **Key Responsibilities:** * Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical systems and components of MEP projects. * Develop and monitor project budgets to ensure cost control and financial efficiency. * Prepare and analyze tender documents, bills of quantities (BOQs), and specifications. * Evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with project requirements. * Track and manage project expenditures, variations, and cost adjustments. * Conduct regular cost analysis to ensure project alignment with budgetary goals. * Manage contracts related to mechanical works, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions. * Address contractual issues, including variations, claims, and disputes. * Assess and forecast the required quantities of materials and ensure procurement aligns with project schedules. * Monitor material usage and wastage to optimize resource efficiency. * Work closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to align on project goals. * Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and progress updates to stakeholders. **Qualifications, Experience and Skills:** **Experience:** Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the mechanical field, preferably within the MEP or construction industry. **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field**.** **Certifications:** Professional certifications (e.g., RICS, CIQS) are a plus. **Skills:** * Strong knowledge of mechanical systems in construction projects. * Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools. * Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. * Strong understanding of contract law and FIDIC guidelines Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person
