Quantity Surveyor (QS) – Construction

AL Hamal Trading and Contracting W.L.L. is seeking a qualified and experienced **Quantity Surveyor (QS)** to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, contract administration, and financial management of construction projects. **Key Responsibilities:** * Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents * Evaluate contractor quotations and prepare comparison reports * Manage project costs and ensure budget control * Handle variations, claims, and contract administration * Prepare interim valuations and final accounts * Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients * Ensure compliance with contract terms and project specifications **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field * Minimum **3–7 years of experience** in construction and contracting * Strong knowledge of QS practices, contracts, and cost control * Experience in the Qatar/GCC market is preferred * Proficiency in Excel and relevant QS software * Good communication and negotiation skills **Preferred:** * Arabic speaker is preferred * Ability to handle both **QS and contract engineering tasks** Job Type: Permanent Work Location: In person
