SCADA & Telecom Engineer

* Manage the installation and configuration of **Redundant Hot Standby PLC systems** and Remote Terminal Units (RTUs). * Oversee the deployment of **Managed Ethernet Switches** and Device Level Ring (DLR) communication topologies. * Ensure system compliance with **IEC 62443** cybersecurity standards, including the configuration of encryption-enabled modules. * Supervise **Fiber Optic (FO) cable** splicing, OTDR testing, and end-to-end link loss characterization. * Configure SCADA HMI screens and integrate field data via **Profibus, Modbus, or IEC 60870-5-104** protocols to the central control center. * Coordinate the setup of server-class machines and virtualized SCADA environments. **Qualifications & Skills:** * Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Communication, or Control & Instrumentation Engineering. * Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Schneider, Rockwell, or Siemens) and SCADA software. * Experience with **Industrial Cyber Security** and network hardening. * Knowledge of TAQA’s telecommunication and automation interface requirements. * **UAE Driving License:** Essential for site-to-site mobility. * **Documentation:** High proficiency in preparing **Method Statements**, Risk Assessments, and technical submittals. * **Communication:** Fluent English is required; Arabic is a significant advantage for authority liaison Job Type: Permanent Work Location: In person
