Senior Accountant

**Key Responsibilities: Financial Accounting & Reporting** * Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with **IFRS** and UAE regulations. * Oversee **accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger** management. * Conduct financial analysis and provide actionable insights for management decision-making. **Taxation & Compliance** * Ensure full compliance with **UAE VAT, Corporate Tax,** and other statutory regulations. * Manage tax filings, audits, and liaise with external auditors and consultants. * Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting the property development and real estate sector. **Cash Flow & Treasury Management** * Monitor daily cash flow to maintain liquidity for operations and investments. * Manage banking transactions, loan settlements, and reconciliations. * Develop cash flow forecasts to support strategic financial planning. **Budgeting & Cost Control** * Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and variance reports. * Implement cost-control strategies to improve financial performance. * Ensure all expenditures align with company policies and approved budgets. **Audit & Internal Controls** * Manage internal and external audits to ensure transparency and compliance. * Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets. * Continuously optimize accounting processes and systems for efficiency. **Team Leadership & Coordination** * Lead, mentor, and supervise the accounting team, including junior accountants and bookkeepers. * Provide training on accounting best practices and UAE financial regulations. * Work closely with finance and operations teams to improve reporting accuracy and workflow. **Candidate Profile Qualifications** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in **Accounting, Finance, or related field**. **Technical Skills** * Strong knowledge of **IFRS, UAE VAT, and corporate taxation**. * Proficiency in accounting software such as **Tally Prime**. * Experience in financial reporting, audits, and reconciliations. **Soft Skills** * Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication, team management, and interpersonal abilities. * Detail-oriented with superior organizational and time management skills.
