Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced **Senior Accountant** to independently manage end-to-end accounting operations for one of our divisions. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in full-cycle accounting, compliance, reporting, and financial controls, with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of supporting management with accurate and timely financial insights. Key Responsibilities * Manage complete accounting functions including **GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, and month-end/year-end closing** * Prepare and review **journal entries**, accruals, and provisions * Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with **UAE accounting standards and company policies** * Prepare **monthly MIS reports**, financial statements, and variance analysis * Handle **VAT compliance** including registration, returns, reconciliations, and audits * Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and banks * Monitor cash flow, working capital, and cost controls * Ensure timely invoicing, collections, and payment processing * Maintain proper documentation and internal controls * Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting as required * Identify process improvements and ensure accounting best practices Requirements & Qualifications * **Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (BCOM)** * Professional qualification such as **CMA / ACCA / CA Inter preferred** * **3–5+ years of relevant UAE accounting experience** * Strong knowledge of **full-cycle accounting and VAT regulations** * Ability to work **independently with minimal supervision** * Proficiency in accounting software and **MS Excel** Job Type: Full-time Application Question(s): * Do you have part qualification like CMA, ACCA or CA Inter? * Please mention your current salary and expected salary here.
