Senior Accountant

At CardoO, the Senior Accountant plays a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and supporting strategic decision-making. You will manage core accounting operations, oversee financial reporting, and maintain strong control over inventory and cost structures within a fast-paced retail or distribution environment. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) * Oversee invoicing, billing processes, and payment collections * Perform regular bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow activities * Manage inventory accounting and conduct stock reconciliations * Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports * Handle VAT and tax filings while ensuring full regulatory compliance * Monitor Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and analyze profitability margins * Collaborate with operations and warehouse teams to ensure proper stock control * Maintain accurate financial records within Odoo ERP system * Support internal and external audits and financial reviews **Qualifications** * + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field + Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are preferred (but not mandatory) **Requirements** * 2–5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in retail, trading, or distribution sectors * Strong hands-on experience with Odoo ERP * Solid understanding of inventory accounting and cost control * In-depth knowledge of VAT and tax regulations * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools * Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment **Benefits** * Competitive salary package * Opportunity to work in a fast-growing and dynamic company * Exposure to modern ERP systems and advanced financial processes * Career growth and professional development opportunities * Collaborative and supportive work environment
