Senior Accountant - Manufacturing Industry

AL AMBRA PERFUMES MANUFACTURING LLC is seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to establish, clean, and manage the full accounting system for a manufacturing business. The role requires hands-on expertise in setting up accounting structures, correcting incomplete or inaccurate financial records, and implementing strong financial controls. This is not a routine accounting position. Candidates must have prior experience in system setup, restructuring, or cleanup of accounts. Key Responsibilities Accounting System Setup - Design and implement Chart of Accounts, accounting policies, and workflows - Establish complete accounting processes and reporting structure - Implement or optimize ERP/accounting system - Define monthly closing procedures and timelines Financial Cleanup & Reconstruction - Review and correct existing financial data and discrepancies - Perform full reconciliation of bank accounts, receivables, and payables - Fix opening balances and prior-period errors - Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records Manufacturing & Cost Accounting - Implement product costing (raw materials, labor, overhead allocation) - Set up and manage BOM (Bill of Materials) - Monitor production costs and variance analysis VAT & Compliance (UAE) - Review previous VAT filings and identify discrepancies - Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT regulations - Prepare and submit accurate VAT returns Financial Reporting & Control - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements - Implement internal controls, approval workflows, and SOPs - Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes Process Improvement & Management - Develop and document accounting procedures - Train and support internal staff if required - Ensure sustainability and scalability of accounting systems Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Minimum 5–10 years of experience, including manufacturing accounting - Proven experience in accounting system setup or financial cleanup projects - Strong expertise in: - Cost accounting - Inventory management - Financial reporting - UAE VAT regulations - Experience with ERP/accounting systems - Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus Skills & Competencies - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - High attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to work independently and take full ownership - Strong communication and reporting skills - Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines Application Process Send your CV to: Whatsapp +971 567511505 [email protected] Immediate joiners strongly preferred Pay: From AED4,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
