Senior Accountant - ONLY CONSTRUCTION BACKGROUND

The Project Accountant is responsible for managing financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, cost control, billing, reporting, and coordination with teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. Ø Monitor project budgets and track actual costs against approved budget Ø Review contracts & purchase orders of the projects. Ø Prepare and review **Budget vs. Actual reports** for project Ø Manage project billing, invoicing, and revenue recognition Ø Track project cash flow. Ø Monitor subcontractor and supplier payments in line with project progress Ø Maintain records of project costs including materials and subcontractor data in the ERP system. Ø Prepare periodic cost reports for management review Ø Reconcile project accounts, including receivables and payables Ø Track retention, advance payments, and bank guarantees/ Securities Ø Coordinate with Project managers, Procurement, and Site teams & HO Account team Ø Ensure proper documentation for audits and compliance Ø Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to projects **2. Experience and Qualification** 3–5+ years of experience in construction or project accounting Knowledge of ERP System (Oracle, ePromise) Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting **Competencies** Collaborative Working Accountability Strong knowledge of construction accounting Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control Understanding of contract terms (BOQ, variations, EOT, etc.)) Analytical Thinking Knowledge of UAE VAT Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month Experience: * Facility Management /Contracting: 4 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
