Job Summary Senior Accountant With UAE Experience In Auditing Firm Experienced Senior Accountant (UAE Experience In Auditing Firm) with a strong background in public accounting and audit firms. Proven ability to manage financial reporting, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide insightful financial analysis. Brings deep technical accounting knowledge, strong internal control expertise, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to support business objectives. Key Responsibilities * Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP * Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals * Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies * Apply audit experience to strengthen internal controls and risk management processes * Coordinate and support external and internal audits, acting as a key point of contact * Analyze financial data, identify variances, and provide actionable insights to management * Review balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies * Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis * Assist in process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency * Mentor junior accounting staff and review their work for accuracy and completeness Qualifications & Experience * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field * Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent) preferred or in progress * 4–7 years of accounting experience, including experience with a reputable audit firm * Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and financial reporting requirements * Hands-on experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
