**Job Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Senior Accountant & ZohoBook Expert to join our dynamic finance team (FULL TIME). In this pivotal role, you will leverage your extensive accounting expertise and ZohoBooks proficiency to ensure accurate financial reporting, streamline accounting processes, and support strategic financial initiatives. Your proactive approach and technical acumen will drive operational excellence, compliance, and financial clarity across the organization. **Responsibilities**
* Manage and oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, including general ledger reconciliation, journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
* Utilize ZohoBooks to automate invoicing, expense tracking, and financial reporting, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates.
* Prepare comprehensive financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory standards.
* Conduct detailed balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities to inform strategic decision-making.
* Ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) controls and other regulatory reporting requirements.
* Mentor junior team members on accounting best practices, technical accounting concepts, and software utilization to foster professional growth.
**Requirements**
* Proven experience in corporate accounting, governmental accounting, or non-profit accounting with a strong understanding of GAAP and financial concepts.
* Expertise in ZohoBooks along with familiarity with other accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms.
* Solid knowledge of double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and account reconciliation processes.
* Experience with SOX compliance, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), securities law, and regulatory reporting is highly desirable.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial report writing, data analysis, and forecasting.
* Ability to interpret complex financial reports and perform cash flow analysis effectively.
* Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: E£15,500.00 - E£25,000.00 per month
