Senior Accountant(IT EXPERIENCE)

**Job Summary** We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations, including financial reporting, reconciliations, project accounting, and tax compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong exposure to project-based environments such as Facilities Management, System Integration, or IT services, along with hands-on experience in ERP systems, preferably Oracle. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage month-end closing activities, including journal entries and financial reporting * Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting schedules * Review general ledger (GL) accounts and conduct variance analysis against budgets * Handle project and service revenue & cost recognition in line with accounting standards * Track unbilled receivables and unearned revenue movements * Reconcile project-related transactions and clearing accounts * Record manpower costs based on approved timesheets * Process vendor invoices through 3-way matching (PO, GRN, Invoice) * Prepare vendor payments and monitor vendor aging reports * Ensure timely supplier reconciliations and settlements * Manage VAT and WHT calculations, filings, and regulatory compliance * Maintain tax documentation and support audits and tax-related inquiries * Monitor inventory movements, amortization, and provisioning * Record provisions for slow-moving inventory and doubtful debts * Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls, and company policies * Work on ERP systems (preferably Oracle EBS) and support reporting through advanced Excel **Key Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CA / ACCA / CMA preferred) * 5–10 years of relevant accounting experience * Experience in Facilities Management, System Integration, or IT project environments * Strong exposure to AMC and project accounting * **Mandatory:** Experience in client-facing roles with hands-on involvement in revenue recognition for client projects (not limited to in-house/internal revenue recognition) * Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS (GL, AP, AR modules) * Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and controls * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED10,500.00 per month Work Location: In person
