Senior Accounts Payable

**Job description:** We are seeking to hire a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounts Payable Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts payable or general accounting, along with a strong and confident personality, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to handle complex financial operations efficiently. **Key Duties & Responsibilities:** - Process vendor invoices, Vendor SOA Reconciliations and processing payments. - Manage company petty cash fund, ensuring proper authorization and recording of disbursements. - Maintain petty cash log, receipts, and supporting documentation for all transactions. - Perform regular petty cash reconciliations and closing procedures. - Report petty cash balances, usage, and discrepancies to the Finance Manager - Verify invoices against purchase orders, contracts, and delivery receipts. - Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies with vendors. - Maintain accurate vendor records, contracts, and payment schedules. - Prepare weekly/monthly payment runs (checks, transfers, online payments). - Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and tax regulations. -Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes by providing supporting documentation and reconciliations. - Collaborate with procurement, finance, and other departments to resolve payment or invoice issues. - Maintain proper documentation and filing system for audit and compliance purposes. **Qualifications & Requirements:** - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - Minimum 6 years of experience in accounts payable or accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role. - Strong leadership qualities with the ability to guide and mentor junior team members. - Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced knowledge of MS Excel. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills . - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
