Senior Audiovisual Technician

***Role: Audiovisual (AV) Engineer – Auditorium Operations*** ***Location: Abu Dhabi*** **Detailed Job Responsibilities** **Event Support & Operations** Attend all events held in the auditorium and act as the primary AV support. Set up, configure, and operate AV systems during events (audio, video, lighting). Provide real-time troubleshooting during live sessions with minimal disruption. Coordinate with event organizers to understand technical requirements in advance. **Pre-Event Preparation** Perform full pre-event checks of all auditorium systems: Microphones (wired/wireless) Speakers and sound systems Cameras and video switching LED screens and display systems Configure presets (LED screens, camera angles, lighting scenes). Test Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) or conferencing systems before events. **Daily Operations & Maintenance** Conduct daily inspections of all auditorium equipment. Ensure all AV systems are operational and calibrated. Maintain system logs and report any faults or degradation. Perform preventive maintenance to avoid failures. **System Configuration & Management** Manage and adjust: LED walls / displays Lighting systems Audio mixing consoles Camera systems Update system settings based on event requirements. Handle firmware/software updates when required. **Troubleshooting & Support** Diagnose and resolve issues related to: MTR systems Audio feedback, distortion, or signal loss Video display or connectivity problems Escalate complex issues when needed. **Required Skills & Qualifications** **Technical Skills** Strong experience with AV systems (audio, video, lighting). **Solid knowledge of:** Microphones (lapel, handheld, ceiling) Speakers and amplifiers Audio mixers (basic to intermediate level) Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) troubleshooting. Familiarity with: LED wall/display control systems Camera systems (PTZ cameras preferred) AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron – if applicable) **Troubleshooting Skills** Ability to quickly identify and fix AV issues during live events. Understanding of signal flow (audio/video). **General Technical Knowledge** Basic networking knowledge (IP, connectivity issues). Understanding of conferencing tools and integrations. **Soft Skills** Ability to work under pressure during live events. Strong communication skills with non-technical users. Attention to detail and proactive mindset. Good coordination and time management. Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
