Senior DevOps Engineer

**Job description:** **Job Title:** DevOps Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure & CI/CD) **Location:** Dubai (On-site) **Job Type:** Full-time **Experience Level:** Mid to Senior (3–6 years) **Role Overview:** We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to build, manage, and optimize our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes. The ideal candidate will bridge development and operations to ensure fast, secure, and reliable software delivery for a high-performance mobile trading platform serving 100,000+ users. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, or DigitalOcean) * Build, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI) * Automate infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi) * Configure and manage production systems with load balancing and auto-scaling * Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE) * Monitor system performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or CloudWatch * Manage databases (MongoDB), caching (Redis), backups, and failover strategies * Ensure system security (SSL/TLS, IAM, firewalls, secrets management) * Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability and uptime * Perform performance and load testing for real-time systems * Optimize infrastructure costs and resource usage * Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployments and improve workflows **Requirements:** * 3–6 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering * Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems (Ubuntu/Debian) * Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) * Experience with Docker and Kubernetes * Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code * Knowledge of networking, DNS, SSL certificates, and security best practices * Scripting experience (Python, Bash, or similar) **Nice to Have:** * Experience in FinTech, trading platforms, or real-time systems * Knowledge of microservices architecture, multi-region deployments, and disaster recovery * Familiarity with Vault, KMS, or Secrets Manager * Experience with FIX API, payment integrations, or financial data pipelines * Exposure to Node.js / TypeScript environments **Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) **To Apply:** Please share your resume, GitHub (if available), and examples of infrastructure or automation projects you have worked on.
