Senior Estimation Engineer- Civil

* Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labour, and equipment * Prepare techno commercial proposals and submitting them to clients or project stakeholders * Review and analyze the scope of work, along with all related drawings * Monitor project costs and adjusting estimates as necessary * Provide cost advice throughout the project lifecycle * Participate in project meetings to offer insights and recommendations on cost-related matters * Maintain and update a database of cost information for various construction materials and labour rates * Ensure compliance with relevant building codes and regulations * Evaluate subcontractors' bids and negotiating contracts * Conduct site visits to gather data and assess project feasibility * Collaborate with project managers, project engineers and site engineers * Analyze project requirements to identify potential risks and cost-saving opportunities * Utilize specialized software for estimating purposes * Coordinate closely with the Planning Engineer to prepare a high-level timeline schedule along with the technical and commercial proposal * Share the prepared BOQ with the Quantity Surveyor for distribution across the relevant departments * Upon project award, notify all departments to initiate the preparation of the required project documentation Application Question(s): * Have you handled estimation for large-scale civil projects?
