Our Middle East operations continue to expand, supporting major infrastructure, transportation, energy, and development projects aligned with national visions and long-term growth strategies. **The Role**: We are seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role will focus on delivering high-quality geotechnical engineering design, supporting infrastructure and development projects across the region. You will be responsible for report preparation, conducting detailed numerical analyses and calculations, and contributing to the successful delivery of technically complex projects. **Key Responsibilities**: * Deliver geotechnical engineering design for infrastructure, marine, and ground engineering projects * Perform and review numerical analyses and calculations using tools such as Plaxis 2D/3D, GeoStudio, or equivalent * Prepare and review detailed geotechnical reports, including factual, interpretive, and design reports * Interpret geotechnical investigation data and develop practical design solutions * Design and assess ground improvement techniques such as DSM, stone columns, vibro-compaction, and piling systems * Support deep excavation, foundation, and slope stability design works * Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders * Provide technical support during construction and site activities * Assist in proposal preparation and technical submissions where required **Requirements**: * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering * 8-12+ years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering * Strong experience in geotechnical engineering design, report preparation, and numerical analysis * Proven experience in infrastructure, reclamation, or large-scale development projects * Proficiency in geotechnical software such as Plaxis, GeoStudio, or similar * Strong understanding of geotechnical standards and engineering practices * Good communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams **Why Join SJ**?
