Senior Mechanical Engineer

**Job Overview** VX Studio Consultancy is seeking an experienced and highly skilled **Senior Mechanical Engineer** with a strong background in **high-rise building projects** and **engineering consultancy**. The ideal candidate will lead the design, coordination, and supervision of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and international standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead the **design and review of mechanical systems** (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) for high-rise projects * Coordinate with **architectural, structural, and MEP teams** to ensure integrated design delivery * Review and approve **shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents** * Ensure compliance with **local authority requirements** (Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Civil Defense, etc.) * Conduct **site inspections** to monitor progress and ensure quality and safety standards * Provide **technical guidance** to junior engineers and site teams * Attend **client meetings, coordination meetings, and design reviews** * Identify and resolve **design and site-related issues** efficiently * Ensure projects are delivered **on time, within budget, and to required quality standards** * Prepare and review **technical reports and documentation** **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering * Minimum **8–10 years of experience**, with at least **UAE experience in consultancy firms** * Strong experience in **high-rise building projects** *(mandatory)* * In-depth knowledge of **HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems** * Familiarity with **UAE codes and international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.)** * Proficiency in **AutoCAD, Revit MEP**, and other relevant design software * Excellent communication and coordination skills **Preferred Qualifications** * Professional certifications (e.g., **PMP, LEED, ASHRAE membership**) * Experience working on **large-scale or landmark projects** * Strong leadership and team management skills Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person
