**Overview**
------------
A Senior Planning Manager is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous updating of project planning and schedule management strategies. They oversee a team of planners, analysts, and managers, ensuring effective time management, resource allocation, and risk assessment across complex projects. The role involves creating detailed schedules, identifying milestones, managing critical paths, and supporting project teams with performance measurement, financial oversight, and strategic input.
We are looking for someone who has an experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects, ideally with UAE exposure.
**Your role**

* Actively involved in developing and implementation and updating of of the Planning and Schedule Management Plan.
* Manage a team of Planning Engineers, Managers, Analysts, and other professionals.
* Implement the scheduling business development plans and activities.
* Supports the project team and stakeholders with time management and control.
* Actively involved in establishing criteria for schedule development (schedule detail, work breakdown structure [WBS], etc.).
* Develops and updates summary level as well as detailed schedules.
* Identifies major milestones, critical approvals, and long lead procurement items.
* Actively involved in establishing schedule logic and constraints, realistic activity durations based on production rates and available manpower based on discussion with task owners and/or teams.
* Actively involved in evaluating critical and near critical path activity sequences and assessing actual progress based on site inspections.
* Supports risk allocation and value engineering workshops.
* Provides strategic project management input of the planning project including financial and resources management.
* Reviews earned value and performance measurement reports, resources (cost, labor, or material) to activities, cash flow reports, resource histograms, architect and contractor prepared schedules, post construction as-built schedules, etc.
**About you**

**Knowledge, Skills, and Experience**
* Relevant Experience in managing complex projects.
* Knowledgeable in industry – standard system and software.
**Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
* With at least 20 years of management experience in project controls, preferably in infrastructure projects in the Middle East
* Proven expertise in schedule management, document control, and performance tracking.
* Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage complex multi-stakeholder environments.
* Familiarity with project control tools and methodologies.
