Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (Frontend Focus)

**Title:** Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (Frontend Focus) **Industry:** IT Software **Reporting Line:** Engineering Manager / Service Delivery Manager **Position Type:** Full Time **Location:** Cairo We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer with a frontend focus to ensure high-quality standards across our applications. This role involves working with modern test automation tools, AI-enhanced workflows, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless user experience. ### **Key Responsibilities:** **Test Automation & Quality Assurance:** * Build and maintain end-to-end test automation using Playwright * Support migration of existing Cypress test suites to Playwright * Perform integration and API testing using tools like Postman * Test event-driven and asynchronous systems, including message handling and retry flows **AI & Modern Testing Practices:** * Leverage AI tools and adapt to agentic workflows to enhance testing efficiency * Continuously improve testing processes using modern technologies **Collaboration & Communication:** * Collaborate closely with developers, UX, and cross-functional teams to improve product quality * Communicate effectively with both technical stakeholders and end users * Contribute through Git (pull requests) and support CI/CD workflows in Azure DevOps ### **Desired Skills:** * Strong proficiency in TypeScript * Hands-on experience with Playwright (Cypress is a plus) * Experience with API and integration testing * Basic understanding of React * Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows * Experience or interest in AI tools and agentic workflows * Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills * Very good English communication skills ### **Nice to Have:** * Experience with Playwright MCP * Basic knowledge of Kubernetes * Understanding of data visualization and charting ### **What We Value:** * Ownership and strong attention to detail * Passion for user experience and usability * Willingness to understand the product end-to-end * Proactive adoption of new technologies, especially AI-driven approaches * Collaborative mindset and knowledge sharing ### **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary * Social & Medical insurance * Flexible working environment * Professional and supportive work environment * Access to modern tools and technologies * Continuous learning and development opportunities * Clear career growth path ### **About** **CrossWorkers** We are a Danish-owned software offshoring company providing European clients with professional Egyptian developers.
