Senior Software Engineer – Healthcare Integrations (HL7/FHIR, Python, Odoo)

**About the Role** We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and delivery of healthcare integrations and ERP solutions. This role focuses on building and maintaining integrations across clinical, operational, and financial systems, while extending our Odoo platform to support healthcare organisations. **Key Responsibilities** * Design and develop integrations between healthcare systems and ERP platforms * Build and maintain APIs (REST, JSON-RPC, XML-RPC, webhooks) * Develop and customise Odoo modules (v17+) * Work across backend systems using Python and PostgreSQL * Support system performance, monitoring, and production environments * Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions * Contribute to architecture decisions and best practices **Required Skills & Experience** **Core Engineering** * 5+ years of software engineering experience * Strong Python development and backend engineering skills * Experience building APIs and integrations * Solid PostgreSQL knowledge **Healthcare Integration (Essential)** * Experience working with healthcare or clinical systems * Hands-on experience or strong exposure to **HL7 and/or FHIR** * Experience with EMR/EHR, rostering, or clinical platforms **ERP / Odoo** * Experience with Odoo development is highly desirable * Ability to build or customise ERP systems **Infrastructure** * Experience with Linux environments * Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) **Nice to Have** * Experience with integration engines * CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices * Docker or containerisation * Exposure to healthcare compliance standards **Why Join** * Work on real-world healthcare systems and integrations * Exposure to a modern tech stack * Opportunity to grow into a technical leadership role * High-impact role within a growing organisation Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Experience: * FHIR: 3 years (Required) * Python: 3 years (Required) * Odoo: 3 years (Preferred) * Linux: 1 year (Required) * Cloud Platform (GCP, AWS or Azure): 3 years (Required) * HL7 : 3 years (Required) Work Location: In person
