Senior Structural Engineer

**Responsibilities:** * Develop, review, and optimize structural designs using engineering principles and industry best practices. * Perform detailed structural analysis to ensure that designs meet safety, load, and performance standards. * Work on the design of structures using materials like concrete, steel, and composite materials in compliance with local and international codes (e.g., ACI, AISC, Eurocode). * Create and manage 3D models of structural elements using BIM tools (e.g., Revit, Tekla, Navisworks). * Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of structural elements into the overall design model. * Conduct clash detection, coordination, and resolve design conflicts using BIM methodologies. * Ensure that BIM models are accurate, up to date, and compliant with project requirements throughout the project lifecycle. * Ensure that all structural designs comply with applicable regulations, codes, and standards. * Review and validate design outputs and calculations, ensuring the accuracy of designs produced. * Perform site visits as required to ensure that construction activities align with structural design and specifications. * Work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineers (civil, MEP) to deliver coordinated and efficient project designs. * Participate in project meetings and design review sessions to discuss design challenges, propose solutions, and ensure the timely delivery of project milestones. * Liaise with contractors and clients to address design-related issues and provide technical guidance during the construction phase. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. A Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or related field is an advantage. * Minimum of 12 years of experience in structural design and BIM for medium to large-scale engineering or construction projects. * Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, or similar. * Advanced proficiency in BIM tools such as Revit, Tekla, AutoCAD, Navisworks, or equivalent. * Strong understanding of building codes, structural standards, and regulatory requirements. * Experience in the design of concrete, steel, and composite structures
