Our Middle East operations continue to expand, supporting major infrastructure, transportation, energy, and development projects aligned with national visions and long-term growth strategies. **About the Role**: The Senior Water Infrastructure Design Engineer will undertake and lead the technical design of water infrastructure projects across the full project lifecycle, from feasibility and concept through to detailed design and construction support. The role demands strong hydraulic engineering competence and the ability to coordinate and review the work of more junior engineers. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead the hydraulic design and analysis of water supply networks, Wastewater systems, transmission mains, pumping stations, storage reservoirs, and related civil infrastructure. * Develop and review hydraulic models using industry-standard software (InfoWorks WS Pro, WaterGEMS, EPANET) and produce design reports, calculations, and specifications. * Prepare and review engineering drawings, BOQs, specifications, and tender documentation to IFC standard. * Undertake hydraulic transient analysis (surge protection), network optimisation studies, and demand/leakage assessments. * Provide technical construction support, attend site visits, and resolve design queries during implementation. * Coordinate interfaces with civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines; liaise with clients and utility authorities. **Qualifications & Requirements:** * Degree in Civil/Water Engineering. * 10+ years in water infrastructure design * Proven GCC project experience in water infrastructure and water resources design, with understanding of UAE authority standards (DM, ADWEA, DEWA, or equivalent). * Proficiency in hydraulic modelling and design tools; working knowledge of BIM/CAD workflows (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent). **Why Join SJ**?
