Site Engineer

**Key Responsibilities:** · Oversee daily site activities to ensure construction work progresses as per the project schedule. · Monitor and supervise subcontractors and laborers to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. · Interpret drawings and specifications to guide site execution teams. · Coordinate with the project manager, site foremen, and other engineers to resolve site-related issues. · Conduct site inspections to check work quality and adherence to approved plans. · Ensure proper execution of structural, architectural, and MEP works as per project requirements. · Verify materials delivered to the site against approved specifications and BOQs. · Identify and rectify technical issues arising during execution. · Ensure that all site work is completed within budget, avoiding unnecessary wastage. · Maintain daily site records, including progress reports, manpower utilization, and material consumption. · Liaise with consultants and client representatives for approvals and inspections. · Ensure site teams follow safety regulations and implement corrective actions when needed. · Supervise concrete pouring, formwork installation, reinforcement fixing, and finishing works. · Coordinate with the QA/QC team to ensure proper testing and inspections are conducted. · Monitor work progress and report deviations or delays to the project manager. · Handle site modifications and prepare as-built drawings if required. · Ensure utilities like water, electricity, and site access are maintained for smooth operations. · Manage workforce distribution and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and site supervisors. **Requirements:** · Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. · Minimum 4–7 years of experience in building construction preferably in UAE.
