Site Engineer

Experienced Site Engineer required for Construction Subcontractor based in Dubai Function Take ownership and coordinate all site operations Attend site inspections, surveys and estimates during tender process to support Sales Manager / QS with accurate costing and quoting Communicate effectively with the Sales Manager to ensure project scope and contracted works are clearly understood and fulfilled by workforce Act as point of contact between Foremen / Site Team and Management team Manage logistics and transport of labour, plant and material to and from site as required Communicate procurement requirements effectively to purchase function and management Ensure daily reports and measures from site team are accurate and submitted in a timely fashion Take-off measures from drawings and compile monthly activity/ productivity reports Ensure works are completed to agreed projects and in line with company standards Plan and implement individual project timeline and broader project pipeline in order to utilize company manpower and assets to full capacity, hence meet and exceed productivity targets Manage and respond to customer Site Observations, NCR’s and operational queries Ensure all requirements for progress payments and payment applications are fulfilled and signed off by the relevant site personnel before submitting to Finance for invoicing Coordinate, agree and confirm schedules with the customer to ensure minimum downtime and maximum productivity Personal attributes and key skills Proven ability to manage site personnel across multiple projects Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Superb organisational, planning and time management skills Good working knowledge of ready-mix concrete call-off, delivery and placement Knowledge of concrete characteristics, mix designs and admixtures Knowledge of floor screed works Knowledge of concrete and masonry finishing Computer literate with a working knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD, (Photoshop and Trello an advantage) Knowledge of concrete pumping and finishing tools and machinery Valid UAE driving license is a prerequisite for the position. Visit visa / NOC from current employer required for immediate start.
