Site Engineer (Civil)

Site Engineer – Construction, Procurement & Quantity Surveying Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Site Engineer with strong experience in site supervision, subcontracting, procurement, and quantity take-offs. The ideal candidate must have excellent market knowledge to source subcontractors, obtain competitive quotations, and manage project costs effectively. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise and manage daily construction site activities * Ensure work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and project timelines * Source and coordinate subcontractors for various works * Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors * Handle material purchasing and ensure timely delivery to site * Prepare and verify quantity take-offs and material requirements * Monitor project costs and assist in budget control * Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and suppliers * Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations * Prepare daily reports on site progress, materials, and manpower Requirements: * Proven experience as a Site Engineer in construction projects * Strong knowledge of local market (suppliers, subcontractors, pricing) * Experience in procurement, subcontracting, and cost estimation * Ability to calculate quantities and prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) * Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications * Strong negotiation and communication skills * Ability to read and write in English Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering * Experience in residential, commercial, or fit-out projects * UAE experience is an advantage Keywords (SEO): Site Engineer Jobs, Construction Site Engineer, Procurement Engineer, Quantity Surveying, BOQ Preparation, Subcontractor Management, Construction Procurement UAE, Civil Site Engineer, Cost Estimation Enginee Job Type: Full-time Pay: From AED5,000.00 per month Experience: * Site engineer: 4 years (Required) License/Certification: * Dubai Municipality (Required) Work Location: In person
