Site Engineer - Fit-out Works

**Job Summary:** We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Site Engineer with strong experience in fit-out works. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing technical, coordination, and documentation aspects of site operations while ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and timelines. **Key Responsibilities:** * Review and verify project specifications to ensure all materials and shop drawings comply with approved requirements. * Compare shop drawings with actual site conditions to ensure alignment with approved designs, while identifying and resolving clashes with MEP, civil, and other disciplines. * Maintain and update logs for shop drawings and material submittals in accordance with main contractor standards and project requirements. * Develop work strategies and look-ahead programs, identifying potential risks or delays and proposing effective solutions in coordination with the Project Manager. * Foster and maintain strong professional relationships with the main contractor, ensuring alignment with company interests. * Ensure all project communications, including potential risks or issues, are properly documented and supported through formal correspondence with the client. * Monitor material procurement and delivery schedules in line with project plans, ensuring alignment with cash flow considerations and lead times. * Coordinate with foremen to ensure all site activities are clearly communicated, maintaining high standards of quality and labor productivity. * Prepare and manage all site-related documentation, including MIRs, WIRs, method statements, risk assessments, ITPs, SORs, NCRs, and ensure proper filing in accordance with project standards. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. * Proven experience in fit-out or interior projects. * Strong understanding of shop drawings, material submittals, and site coordination. * Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and construction documentation. * Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
