Site Engineer with Driving License

Job Title: Site Engineer – Steel Fabrication **Job Summary:** The Site Engineer for Steel Fabrication is responsible for supervising and coordinating on-site steel fabrication and erection activities. This role ensures that all work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to approved drawings and quality standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Supervise daily steel fabrication and erection activities at the project site. * Interpret and implement structural drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications. * Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and fabrication teams to ensure smooth workflow. * Ensure proper alignment, fitting, welding, and installation of steel structures. * Monitor site progress and prepare daily/weekly progress reports. * Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations. * Manage manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently. * Identify and resolve technical issues on-site. * Ensure all work is carried out according to project timelines and deadlines. * Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections and approvals. * Maintain proper documentation (work reports, material usage, site logs, etc.). **Required Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or related field. * 2–5 years of experience in steel fabrication and erection works. * Good understanding of fabrication drawings and welding procedures. * Knowledge of construction safety standards and practices. * Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings. * Strong communication and teamwork skills **Skills & Competencies:** * Site supervision and management * Problem-solving and decision-making * Knowledge of welding techniques and steel structures * Time management and organizational skills * Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD (preferred) **Working Conditions:** * Primarily site-based work * May require extended hours depending on project deadlines * Exposure to construction site environment Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month Work Location: In person
