They perform site inspections, design temporary works (shoring/propping), verify material strengths, analyze structural integrity, and solve on-site issues to keep projects on schedule while maintaining safety standards. Key Responsibilities * **On-site Problem Solving:** Address unforeseen site conditions, material modifications, or errors by providing prompt, alternative structural solutions. * **Structural Analysis & Calculations:** Calculate loads, stress, and structural stability of beams, foundations, and walls during various construction phases. * **Material Evaluation:** Evaluate construction materials and verify structural steel reinforcement. * **Coordination with Teams:** Liaise between site crews, project managers, architects, and designers to resolve structural discrepancies. * **Documentation:** Review shop drawings, prepare field reports, and monitor progress to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
