Technical Engineer (Mid to High Rise Building Construction)

**Key Responsibilities for Technical Engineer** * Review and coordinate shop drawings, IFC drawings, and as-built drawings * Prepare and submit material submittals, method statements, and RFIs * Ensure all submissions comply with project specifications and consultant requirements * Maintain and track logs for drawings, materials, RFIs, and approvals * Identify and resolve discrepancies between architectural, structural, and MEP drawings * Liaise with consultants for approvals, clarifications, and technical coordination * Provide technical guidance to site engineers and construction teams * Ensure site execution is in line with approved drawings and method statements * Oversee civil and architectural finishing works on-site * Coordinate with MEP teams and subcontractors to resolve interface issues * Address and resolve technical issues arising during construction * Coordinate with authorities such as Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, Trakhees, and DEWA as required * Ensure compliance with UAE codes, regulations, and project specifications * Monitor construction progress against the baseline program and recommend corrective actions * Support planning team with sequencing and construction methodologies * Report progress, risks, and constraints to Construction/Project Managers * Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards and participate in inspections * Coordinate ITPs, inspection requests, and ensure approved materials are used * Review subcontractor submittals including RFIs, method statements, and ITPs * Maintain site documentation including daily reports, NCRs, and snagging logs * Use PMIS platforms (e.g., Procore or equivalent) for documentation and tracking * Assist in progress reporting, payment certificate reviews, and variation assessments **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Engineering * Minimum of 8 years experience as a Technical Engineer * Experience in mid- to high-rise building projects in the UAE (Dubai preferred) * Knowledge of UAE construction regulations and practices * Experience with PMIS/digital systems such as Procore or similar * Strong communication, coordination, and technical writing skills * Eligibility to work in the UAE (employment visa provided) **About Projenco Global** Projenco is a Dubai-based firm that provides comprehensive advisory and delivery partner services to commercial and institutional developers.
