Technical Lighting Engineer

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lighting Engineer to support the design, development, and implementation of lighting systems across various projects. The role focuses on the technical aspects of lighting, including calculations, product selection, system integration, and on-site support to ensure optimal performance and compliance with project requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** * Prepare detailed lighting calculations using software such as Dialux and Relux to achieve required lux levels and uniformity. * Develop technical lighting layouts, wiring diagrams, and specifications. * Select appropriate luminaires, drivers, and control systems based on project needs. * Review and evaluate shop drawings, technical submittals, and material approvals. * Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure proper integration of lighting systems. * Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning stages. * Troubleshoot lighting system issues related to drivers, controls, and power supply. * Ensure compliance with local and international lighting standards and regulations. * Assist in optimizing energy efficiency and lighting performance. * Conduct site inspections to verify installation quality and adherence to design. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. * Proven experience in technical lighting engineering or a similar role. * Strong knowledge of lighting calculations, photometrics, and illumination standards. * Proficiency in Dialux, Relux, AutoCAD, and MS Office. * Good understanding of LED technology, drivers, and lighting control systems (DALI, DMX, 0-10V). * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Good communication and coordination abilities.
