Technical Manager – Construction

**Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to oversee and coordinate all technical aspects of construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure design integrity, regulatory compliance, and efficient project execution while supporting project teams with technical expertise. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead and manage all technical activities across construction projects from planning to completion * Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation * Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure alignment with project requirements * Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards * Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support to site teams * Monitor project progress and address technical issues to avoid delays or cost overruns * Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for technical challenges * Oversee quality control processes and ensure construction meets design and performance standards * Evaluate materials, methods, and technologies to optimize project efficiency and cost * Manage technical submissions, approvals, and authority coordination * Support procurement teams in technical evaluation of vendors and subcontractors * Prepare and present technical reports to senior management and stakeholders * Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all technical aspects of projects **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field * 8+ years of experience in construction or engineering roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial position * Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations * Experience reviewing technical drawings and specifications * Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills * Strong leadership and team coordination abilities * Proficiency in construction and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Project) * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills **Preferred Qualifications** * Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP) * Experience working on large-scale or multi-disciplinary projects * Familiarity with local authority approval processes **Work Environment** * Site-based role Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED16,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
