Technical Manager

**Job Title: Technical Manager (Civil)** **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager (Civil) to lead and manage all technical aspects of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in civil engineering, particularly in building construction, and will be responsible for ensuring projects are executed efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. **Key Responsibilities** \* Lead and oversee all technical operations across multiple construction projects. \* Review and approve drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals. \* Ensure all works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and authority regulations. \* Provide technical guidance and support to site engineers and project teams. \* Coordinate with consultants, clients, architects, and subcontractors. \* Identify and resolve technical issues, design discrepancies, and site challenges. \* Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones. \* Support cost control, budgeting, and value engineering initiatives. \* Ensure implementation of QA/QC procedures and compliance with HSE standards. \* Review and manage variations, claims, and technical documentation. \* Conduct regular site inspections and technical audits. \* Prepare and present technical reports to senior management. **Requirements** \* Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree is an advantage). \* Minimum 10–15 years of experience in construction, preferably in UAE. \* Strong experience in high-rise building projects is highly preferred. \* Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role. \* In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local regulations. \* Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software. \* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. \* Excellent communication and leadership abilities. **Preferred Qualifications** \* Experience working with reputable contracting companies in the UAE. \* Familiarity with Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, or other authority approvals. \* PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
