**About Us** Go Tech Construction LLC is an unlimited licensed construction company delivering complex institutional, commercial, residential and mixed-use projects throughout the UAE. With in-house engineering, design coordination, structural, civil and MEP teams, Go Tech provides a vertically integrated approach from concept and design through procurement, site execution, commissioning and handover. **Reports To** Senior Accountant **Job Summary** The Accounts Assistant is responsible for supporting the finance function through the accurate processing of purchase orders, supplier invoices, payment transactions, and project-related accounting activities. The role works closely with the Senior Accountant and Project Accountant to ensure timely financial reporting, compliance, and effective support for project operations. **Key Responsibilities** * Review and verify purchase orders and supplier invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with project and procurement requirements. * Process purchase orders within the accounting system and maintain supporting documentation for audit and compliance purposes. * Ensure all supplier invoices are properly approved and recorded in accordance with company procedures. * Maintain organized records of purchase orders, invoices, and related financial documents. * Accurately record financial transactions, including purchase orders, invoices, supplier payments, and expense claims. * Ensure all transactions are entered into the accounting system in a timely manner. * Assist with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations. * Track supplier and contractor payment schedules to ensure timely settlement of obligations. * Reconcile supplier statements and investigate any discrepancies. * Follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure all liabilities are accurately recorded. * Maintain positive working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. * Prepare payment schedules and supporting documentation for approval. * Process supplier payments through bank transfers, cheques, or other approved payment methods. * Ensure compliance with company financial controls and approval authorities. **Qualifications** * Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. * Professional accounting certifications are an advantage. **Experience** * 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance-related roles. * Experience in project accounting or construction-related accounting is preferred. * Experience working under the supervision of a Senior Accountant or Finance Manager. **Technical Skills** * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications. * Experience using accounting software or ERP systems. * Understanding of accounts payable processes and financial controls. * Basic knowledge of project accounting principles and cost tracking. **Competencies** * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Good analytical and problem-solving skills. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month Experience: * UAE: 2 years (Required) Work Location: In person
