Accountant

**Job Title: Accountant** **Location:** Dubai, UAE **Experience Required:** Minimum 2 Years UAE Experience **Salary:** To be discussed during the interview Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our contracting company in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of UAE accounting experience, preferably within the construction or contracting industry, and possess strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT regulations, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: * Maintain and update accounting records, ledgers, and financial transactions. * Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and reconciliations. * Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. * Process supplier invoices, payments, and customer receipts. * Handle bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow. * Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with UAE regulations. * Monitor project costs, expenses, and budget allocations. * Assist in payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements. * Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary documentation during audits. * Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE financial regulations. * Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records. Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Minimum 2 years of UAE accounting experience (contracting/construction industry preferred). * Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems, etc.). * Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
