**We’re Hiring: Accountant – Contracting Experience** Join our dynamic team and play a key role in managing financial operations for construction and contracting projects. **Key Responsibilities:** * Monitor and control project budgets, costing, and financial performance * Prepare progress billings, handle invoicing, and follow up on collections * Manage accounts payable and receivable; reconcile vendor statements * Process subcontractor payments and monitor retention schedules * Perform bank reconciliations and manage project-based cash flows * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports * Handle VAT filings and ensure compliance with tax regulations * Track material purchases and inventory costs * Review contracts and analyze financial risks/opportunities * Coordinate with project teams for real-time cost updates **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance * Proven experience in a contracting or construction environment * Strong knowledge of accounting software and Excel * Familiar with UAE VAT laws (if applicable) * Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Job Type: Full-time Send your CV to +971 50 216 3440 Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per day Work Location: In person
