We are committed to operational excellence both in the dining room and behind the scenes, and we are looking for a sharp financial mind to join our team. **The Role** We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations of Gran Caffè. This is a role for someone who takes pride in accuracy, stays on top of the details, and understands the financial rhythm of the hospitality industry. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries * Reconcile POS system reports with daily sales records and bank statements to ensure full financial accuracy * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements * Monitor cash flow, track expenses, and flag discrepancies promptly * Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and cost control analysis * Coordinate with suppliers and vendors on invoicing and payment schedules * Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and tax requirements * Support management with financial insights and reporting to aid decision-making * Oversee inventory tracking and cost of goods, prepare and analyze Profit & Loss statements, and proactively monitor financial performance to ensure the restaurant is operating efficiently, breaking even, and protected against loss **What We're Looking For** * Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, ideally within the hospitality or F&B industry * Hands-on experience working with POS systems is essential * Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms * Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all financial work * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines * Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; a professional certification (e.g. CPA, ACCA) is a plus * Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage Work Location: In person
