Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented **Accountant** to manage daily accounting activities and ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations. **Responsibilities:** * Maintain financial records and prepare reports * Handle accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and petty cash * Assist with month-end and year-end closing * Prepare VAT filings and ensure UAE VAT compliance * Prepare Corporate Tax filing * Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) * Support budgeting and audits as required **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance * 1-2 years of accounting experience in the UAE * Strong knowledge of UAE VAT * Experience with Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or ERP systems * Strong Excel skills * CPA/ACCA/CA is a plus but not required * Fluent in English **Benefits:** * Competitive salary * UAE visa, annual leave, and medical insurance * Growth and development opportunities Job Type: Full-time Pay: From AED3,500.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate: * Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Experience: * Accounting: 1 year (Required) Location: * Abu Dhabi (Required) Work Location: In person
