MD Group of Companies are seeking an **Lady Accountan**t with a minimum of **2 to3 years of UAE experience** to join our dynamic team immediately!
The Accountant is responsible for supporting the accounting department by maintaining financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. The role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Book keeping
* Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
* Prepare and maintain journal entries, ledgers, and account reconciliations.
* Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
* Verify and process invoices, payments, and receipts.
* Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
* Process supplier invoices and payment requests.
* Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on customer payments.
* Reconcile vendor and customer accounts.
* Prepare payment schedules and support cash flow monitoring.
Bank & Cash Management
* Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis.
* Monitor petty cash transactions and maintain records.
* Assist in preparing cash and cheque deposits.
Reporting & Compliance
* Assist in preparing financial reports and management reports.
* Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Assist in VAT preparation and related documentation where applicable.
Administrative Support
* Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
* Coordinate with other departments regarding financial matters.
* Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred.
* Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or ERP systems).
* Familiarity with VAT regulations and accounting procedures.
